My name is Laura Lokey. I am a junior at Hood College, majoring in Communication Arts with a minor in Management. I am also a member of the women's field hockey team. When I was younger I played with cameras and camcorders, while all my friends and classmates played with Barbie's and video games. I now work for Hood College's Department of Marketing and Communication, where I closely work with various media outlets and special events. This has sparked my desire to go into broadcast journalism.

In the future I would like to work in a broadcast newsroom, eventually becoming a producer for a big news network or morning talk show. However, I'm also very interested in the marketing management aspect of media as well.
