Morgan Huffer
"Be who you are, and do what you love"

My name is Morgan Huffer and I’m a 21-year-old senior at Hood College. My studies are for a bachelor degree in business management with a concentration in marketing and online public relations.

I was born in Frederick, and have lived in the county my entire life. For eight years, I was on a professional jump rope team called the Skip Wizards. Jump rope gave me the opportunity to travel to many states within the US.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the beach and river, and playing volleyball. I’ve been involved and around volleyball my entire life because most of my family, including both of my parents play. I began playing my freshman year of high school and have continued into college. I’ve played several positions, such as a setter, hitter in high school and defensive specialist.

I played club volleyball my freshman year of high school with the club Frederick Favor. The summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school I was invited to play for Elite Sports held in Hawaii. I had always dreamed of going to Hawaii, so I wasn’t going to pass that opportunity up. My junior year of college I was an assistant coach for the club Metro American Volleyball, coaching a group of 16 year-old girls. It was truly an amazing experience leading a team as not only a recent/previous player but at that time, acoach.

Although many people have specific goals, my main goal is to be happy.
