My name is Kerri Sheehan and I am from the Frederick MD area. I am a senior at Hood College double majoring in English literature and Communication Arts. I have extensive experience in academic writing, creative writing and journalism. Some of my favorite writing includes creative fiction and feature writing.

I have recently been writing articles for and working closely with editors of Gorilla Magazine and learning valuable experience in writing professionally for a local publication. Also, I was selected by both the English and Communication Arts departments to write a departmental honors senior thesis, giving me the opportunity to collaborate with professors and explore a specific subject of my choosing. Ultimately, my dream job is to write for a travel magazine. I would love to use what I have learned in school to travel the world and write about my experiences.
