Eight crimes have occurred on Hood College’s campus since the start of the spring semester, according to the Office of Campus Safety.

Below is the information provided by Thurmond Maynard, chief of campus safety, and taken from the campus safety daily crime logs.

Jan. 14

2:20 p.m. gas leak at the Aquatic Center. Referred to the fire department.

Jan. 28

9 a.m. bias incident reported at the Financial Aid Office. Under investigation

Feb. 4

11:53 a.m. Harassment incidents reported at Whitaker Campus Center. No contact order issue.

1:49 p.m. Harassment reported at the New Residence Hall. Referred to Residence Life.

Feb. 6

2:15 p.m. weapons offense reported that had occurred at 2 a.m. in Smith Hall. Case referred to Residence Life.

Feb. 20

1:17 a.m. alcohol offense at Coblentz Hall. Referred to Emergency Services.

Feb. 22

12:48 a.m. property damage reported in Smith Hall. Referred to Facilities Department.

Feb. 24

7:50 p.m. bias incident reported in Hodson Library. Referred to Bias Incident Response Team.
