Chief of Campus Safety Thurmond Maynard said five crimes were reported on campus in the latter half of August and one so far in September. The information below is from the campus safety daily crime logs.

Aug. 22

Property damage was reported at 1 p.m. at the Hodson Beneficial Library.  The incident was referred to the facilities department.

Aug. 24

There was a suspicious person reported at 1:30 p.m. at the rear of Meyran Hall.  

Aug. 26

There was a disorderly person reported at 3:30 p.m. at the Beneficial-Hodson Library.  The person was reported to the dean of students.

Aug. 30

A motor vehicle accident that occurred between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 29 was reported at 2:15 p.m. and was located in the gravel parking lot.  The accident was referred to the owner.

Aug. 30

A sex offense that occurred at Shriner Hall between 11:34 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 12:54 a.m. on Aug. 27 was reported at 11:41 a.m. on Aug. 31. This case is currently pending and is an open investigation.

Sept. 2

An alcohol offense was reported at 11:48 p.m. at Meyran Hall.  The incident was referred to the Office of Student Life.
