The Hood College Dance Ensemble will perform a show, “Revive,” on April 14 and 15 in the Hodson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall at 7:30 p.m. The performance is free, but the group will accept donations.

The show will be the group’s last performance of the year onstage, but the ensemble will continue to perform at lacrosse games.

Freshman Madison Knight hopes to make the performance special for the seniors who are graduating. “I’m very nervous about the performance but want to make it as perfect as possible for our seniors who will sadly be performing their last showcase,” Knight said.

“We will be performing a range of dances. We have some hip hop, jazz, tap, and contemporary [dances],” said sophomore Caylee Sheaffer.

“There’s a lot of dances that we get to showcase, and I feel confident that we’re going to do well. We all have worked very hard,” Sheaffer added.

“Our dancers could not be more excited to share this show with you,” said Caroline Jeranek, the group’s artistic director. “The love that each dancer has for the art is so apparent in their expressions. I am thrilled for them to be able to share that with the community.”
