Tuesday is Discount Day around Frederick

Looking for something cheap to do on a Tuesday night? There are countless deals in and around Frederick on Tuesdays. 

Warehouse Cinemas, located at 1301 W. Patrick St., has a promotion called “VIP Tuesdays”. They offer $7 movie tickets all day long, for any movie. Warehouse Cinemas opened in Frederick in 2020, offering a premium food and drink menu and heated leather reclining seats. 

Warehouse Cinemas is a popular spot on Tuesdays for kids, families and college students. 

“Movies can be expensive, especially being a college student, so it’s fun to get to see new releases at a price I can afford,” Emily Webb, a junior at Hood, said.

Top Golf, located in Germantown just 20 miles from Hood, offers half-priced gameplay on Tuesdays for a limited time. Top Golf is an upscale driving range with targets for multiple minigames. A one-hour reservation after 5 p.m. on Tuesdays costs $27.50 per bay. A bay can hold up to six players. Whether a golf enthusiast or not, Top Golf is a great time. Clubs and balls are provided. 

If you’re interested in affordable and good food, Jerk N’ Jive has a special on Tuesdays: $6 for three tacos. Jerk N’ Jive has two locations in Frederick, with one located at 911 N. East St. and another located at 409 Prospect Blvd. 

Black Hog BBQ, located in downtown Frederick, has half-priced ribs on Tuesdays, while Buffalo Wild Wings has a Buy One Get One 50% off deal for orders of traditional wings.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, located at 5616 Spectrum Drive, has a great deal on desserts for anyone with a sweet tooth. Pizookies, which are large warm cookies served with ice cream on top, are half-priced on Tuesdays. There are 11 different flavors of Pizookie, typically ranging in price from $7.95 to $8.15. 

For those of legal drinking age, Frederick-famous restaurant and bar, Wags, has a happy hour special on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.— draft Yuenglings are only $1. 

It’s no secret that Hood students and other locals love Wags. Wags is the only bar in downtown that has had the same owner and same style for over 40 years. A group of students even wrote a song about Wags and casually sing it while there on weekends. According to Wags bartender Amanda King, the crowd loves it. 

“It’s super busy and fun during Happy Hour… It’s the closest to ‘Cheers’ you’re gonna get,” King said.
